What are your top ideas for reducing the cost of running county government?

My ideas for reducing cost of county government would be for each committee to work with the department heads of their committee. These are the people who know where they can be more efficient to lower their cost.

What is the greatest challenge facing the county today and how do you plan to address it?

The greatest challenge facing the county today is keeping taxes at lowest possible level while we continue to provide services also keep employees we now have.

Do you support conducting fewer county board meetings during the year?

I do not support conducting fewer county board meetings because we need transparency of when we meet and what the agenda will be.

Is the county board and its business accessible enough to taxpayers?

I believe the county board business is accessible to taxpayers but we also need to keep working on it.

Do you support the ongoing effort to expand the county jail?

I do support the effort to expand the county jail because it cost the taxpayer great deal of money and time of personnel to transport prisoners to house out of county our overcrowding is not a good thing for prisoners or staff We need a safe environment for all.
